Golden-Crowned Kinglet Original Painting

Description

The story of this painting dates back a few years to when I found myself sitting on a dry patch of land in the middle of the marshes of Assateague Island. It was late November and so nature had painted the flora in just amazing shades and the little birds were all going about their business (and they were very busy), paying no attention to me. In fact, this particular Golden-Crowned Kinglet was right there, within inches of me.

Professionally framed by Metropolitan Frame Co. of the midwest in a custom-cut floater frame, this original acrylic painting on wood canvas is one the favorites from my collection and until now, I never wanted to sell. But she deserves to be enjoyed until I can have my next bird encounter and make friends with some new feathers:)
